Booking conditions

Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. In these Booking Conditions references to "you" and "your" include the first named person on the booking and all persons on whose behalf a booking is made or any other person to whom a booking is added or transferred.

1. Booking and paying for your arrangements
By booking a trip with us you are deemed to have agreed to these Booking Conditions (which constitutes the entire agreement between you and us) and your booking will be accepted by us on this basis. Booking is possible if made by either a client online or by the staff of Solita International when a certain program and price have been agreed beforehand. A binding contract will come into existence between you and us as soon as we have issued you with a booking confirmation that will confirm the details of your booking and will be sent to you. The Client confirming the booking must be no less than 18 years of age and agrees to provide full, complete and accurate information as requested by Solita International to confirm such booking.

2. Deposits and Payments
Any deposits from you are non-refundable. Payment of a deposit enables us to hold a reservation for you but does not guarantee the price. The price can only be guaranteed once we receive full payment and other travel documents have been issued, subject to any terms and conditions of the Supplier. We will advise you of the date that full payment is required. Upon your provision of your payment information, you are authorizing us to make the payment arrangements with the corresponding Suppliers.

If full payment is not captured on time we will send you a written reminder and if no payment follows within the time mentioned in the reminder, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation.

If we do not receive the balance in full and on time, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you in which case the cancellation charges set out in clause 4 below will become payable.

Payment in full is required at the time of booking for reservations made less than 14 days before the commencement date of the package.

There is no charge for payment of deposit by credit card but a charge of 1.7% for Visa and MasterCard and 2.5% for American Express cards will be made for balance payments. No charges are made for payments using debit cards. Payment on booking requests made on the website can be made by credit cards Visa, MasterCard or Visa Debit. The Company reserves the right to charge you in addition for any handling fees incurred by us in relation to bookings made by credit charge card, these fees are currently 2%, and for Visa Debit a fee of EUR3 applies.

3. Price
All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. The price is only guaranteed when paid in full. Please note that prices quoted are subject to change. Price changes may occur by reason of matters outside our control which increase the cost of the product or service. Such factors include adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes and airfare increases. Please contact your consultant for up to date prices.

4. Cancellations and Changes by client
If you wish to change any part of your booking arrangements after our confirmation letter has been issued, you must inform us in writing as soon as possible. Whilst we will do our utmost to assist you, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet your requested change and that the price will be the same. Any alteration, whether a change to an existing booking or a change to another tour or departure date, will be subject to payment by you of any costs imposed by any of the suppliers providing the component parts of the tour. If the holiday to which you transfer is more expensive than the one you originally booked, a further deposit will also be payable.

Where we are unable to assist you and you do not wish to proceed with the original booking we will treat this as a cancellation by you. A cancellation fee may be payable.

In the event that a you wish to withdraw from a package or tour after it has commenced, we are unable to provide refunds for absences from a tour, including but not limited to missed sightseeing, meals, entertainment and etc.

All cancellations made in writing by you are a subject of cancellation charges (as a percentage of the total cost, but not less than the deposit) as follows: > 30 days - 30%; 29 - 15 days - 50%; 14 - 9 days - 70%; 8 days or less - 100%;

5. Cancellations and Changes by Solita International
We reserve the right to change or cancel your booking in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond our control. Should change or cancellation prove necessary we will give you reasonable notice thereof, in the circumstances, and where available, offer you a comparable alternative. You can accept the change or cancel and accept the cancellation by Solita International. If an alternative is not available or acceptable you will be entitled to a full refund of money paid by you to us.

We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that a client may has incurred as a result of the booking such as visas, vaccinations or non-refundable flights.

If the change or cancellation is due to force majeure (i.e. circumstances like political unrest, war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, closure of airports or ports, industrial disputes, terrorist activity, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemic or health risk, Acts of God, adverse weather conditions or other similar events beyond our control) Solita International will not be liable.

6. Complaints
We make every effort to ensure that your holiday arrangements run smoothly but if you do have a problem during your holiday, please inform our local representative immediately who will endeavor to put things right. If the issue is not resolved locally it is essential you notify our head office of Solita International in writing on an e-mail: info@solita.bg, quoting the booking reference number and all other relevant information, at the earliest opportunity and no later than 14 days after your return, to enable any complaint to be investigated.
Please keep your letter concise and to the point. It will assist us to quickly identify your concerns and speed up our response to you. Failure to follow the procedures set out in this clause may affect our and the applicable supplier’s ability to investigate your complaint, and will affect your rights under this contract.

7. Passport, Visa and Immigration Requirements
It is your responsibility to fulfil the passport, visa and other immigration requirements applicable to your itinerary. You should confirm these with the relevant embassies and/or consulates. We do not accept any responsibility in the case of you being unable to travel due to not complying with any such requirements.
